StockX seller fees explained
StockX charges sellers a transaction fee that falls as you sell more, a flat 3% payment processing fee, and a shipping fee to send the item in for verification. Level 1 sellers pay 9% transaction; Level 5 sellers pay 7%. Levels are based on completed sales or sales volume in a calendar quarter.
Combined, a new seller gives up 12% plus $5 shipping. A high-volume seller gives up 10% plus $5. There is a $5 minimum on the transaction fee, which makes very cheap items uneconomic.

How to pay less on StockX
- Your level is set each quarter. A strong quarter lowers your fee for the following one, so bunching sales can pay off.
- The $5 shipping fee and $5 minimum make items under $60 poor candidates for StockX compared with eBay's 8% sneaker rate (which only applies at $150+).
- Buyers pay their own processing and shipping fees, so your Ask is what the transaction fee is calculated on.
